1st INSSPIRE Newsletter is out!
We are happy to announce the release of the first newsletter for the INSSPIRE project, an initiative to enhance evidence-based education on food systems and climate change in Africa and beyond. After a year of dedicated work and collaboration, this newsletter provides an comprehensive overview of our project’s progress, goals, and inspiring stories from our community.
The INSSPIRE project seeks to stimulate experiential and inclusive education on food systems transformation by building intra-university capacity, strengthening university-community collaboration, and enhancing inter-university partnerships. Our focus on food systems and climate change addresses some of the most pressing issues of our time, particularly in Africa, where these impacts are profoundly felt.
Highlights of the newsletter include:
- An introduction to the INSSPIRE project and its mission.
- Updates on curriculum enrichment initiatives in partner universities in Kenya and Uganda.
- Insights from the project’s Real-Life Learning Labs, where interdisciplinary groups of students tackle real-world problems.
- Features on collaborative online international learning (COIL) and its role in fostering global partnerships.
- Personal stories and reflections from project leaders and participants.
We invite you to read the full newsletter and join us in our journey towards sustainable food systems and climate resilience
