The INSSPIRE Journey (2022–2025): Celebrating a Transformative Collaboration

As the INSSPIRE project comes to an end, we are proud to reflect on a journey marked by collaboration, creativity, and shared commitment to more sustainable and socially relevant higher education.

Since its launch, INSSPIRE has brought together African and European universities, educators, students, and community partners to strengthen evidence-based education on food systems and climate change. Through curriculum innovation, staff capacity building, university-community collaboration, Real-life Learning Labs, and Collaborative Online International Learning, the project has created meaningful spaces for learning, exchange, and action.

The video below offers a short look back at this journey. It highlights the energy, partnerships, and practical learning experiences that have defined INSSPIRE over the years — from workshops and co-creation processes to field-based learning, student engagement, and international exchange.

More than a summary of activities, this video is a celebration of the people behind INSSPIRE: the students who brought fresh ideas, the lecturers who embraced new teaching approaches, the communities who co-created knowledge with universities, and the partners who helped build lasting connections across institutions and countries.

We thank all partners, students, staff, stakeholders, and communities who have been part of this journey.
